Floor Scrubber – Understanding What It Is and What It Can Do For You

Before the advent of floor scrubbers, cleaning our floors would require a lot of water, soap and some strong chemicals to get rid of stains. The task would even require you to get down on your knees and spend a lot of time cleaning your floors. The rotary brushes work its magic on the surface of the floor as it efficiently cleans out and scrubs the dirt off.

Automated scrubbers also tend to leave behind less water than when you manually clean the floor, which means you have already claimed its primary benefit. The time needed for the floor to dry out is significantly reduced thus you can resume to normal routines minutes after you’ve cleaned the floors out.

Buffers

This is an updated version of floor scrubbers since it is designed for use on linoleum covered and other similarly covered floors. Since the use of scrubbers extended not only for home use but also to facilities like schools and other establishments, the tool must be designed in such a way that it can deliver the same results regardless of the type of floor surface. It still has the same rotary brush as the automated ones but the brush is made up of softer material in order not to damage the surface of the floor covering.

There are also other versions of floor scrubber such as the polisher, which is often a good choice for wood and marble floors. It can give good-as-new shine on natural materials especially those that have not been treated with chemicals like waxes and the likes. A floor polish is sometimes used only after the floor surface has been thoroughly cleaned for better results.
